Hi guys! Do you remember me? I am here to help you with the new unit called MONEY AND BUSINESS

INTRODUCTION. 1st session. Friday 14/01

1. Before start this new unit, let's see the mark of the last evaluation and resolve your questions.

2. Now, it's time to start the unit. First of all, we want to see what do you know about this unit. So, you must go to the FORUM and answer the question that we have suggest for you. Remember, there is not wrong answer!

MY MONEY. 2nd session. Monday 17/01

1. You have received 100 euros and you must think what are you goint to do with this money: spend it, save it, invest it, donate it, all of them, ...? Explain it (for example, if you are going to spend it, say in what).

2. Now, let's have a discussion about it. 

3. For next day: you must search in your houses the following concepts: SALES, BARGAIN, DEALS, DISCOUNT.

 

HOW CAN I GET MORE FOR MY MONEY? 3rd session. Wednesday 19/01

1. Have you done your homework? Let's see your answer.

2. You must group yourselves by business (the ones of the last unit). In this part of the unit, you must INVESTIGATE what forniture, machines and basic tools do you need for your business and search in Internet where you can get it cheaper. 

It is important to save the name of the shop, the price  and the final expense.

WHO DOES WHAT IN A BUSINESS? 4th session. Friday 21/01

1. Hey! You have learned a lot of new concepts in this point. Here, I bring you an activity about it: a word search. You must look for X words and then, relate them with the definitions on the bottom.

2. Now, it is time to come back to your business. In groups, you have to explain each concept in relation to your business. For example, explain if your business is a franchise or not, and why. 

HOW DO I RUN A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS? 5th session. Monday 24/01

1. Do you have any question about this new point? Let's see with this game!

2. What is happening with your company, is it making a profit or a loss? Now, you have to create your own account table. We come to the *INVESTIGATION POINT*. You can follow the table in the book on page 74 and 75, and you should look for prices on the Internet and use the information that you have search in the first session of the unit.

EVALUATION. 6th session. Wednesday 26/01

Welcome to your final project! You have gradually developed your company throughout the unit. For this final assessment, you will need to compile all this information in a Portfolio.

Furthermore, I am sure that all the students want to hear how your business has grown. So, you must create a video (it should be about 5 minutes long) where you explain everything reflected in your portfolio as employees, partners, bosses... of the company you are.

Remember, the more creative you are and the more information you show, better.

**The presentation of the video will take place on Wednesday 28/01.
